The Starter

  1. Creating you own starter is simple. The biggest miss step is time.
  2. 50/50 water and flour (100 grams of each or so)
  3. Mix in container (such as mason jar) lightly secure lid
  4. Let rest for 24 hours
  5. Discard half of mixture
  6. Start again at step one
  7. Starter will be ready in 7 to 10 days

Starter can be saved in fridge feeding once a week or in the freezer for a couple months. I suggest looking up how to keep your starter as it is supposed to get better with age.
